Sort of. Each speaker has it's own amp, but each channel can drive both amps.
If you look along the bottom of Ch.1 on schem., follow the lines from points #5 and 7. That is how either channel can drive both amps.

So to actually isolate what is causing both speakers to rapidly go in /out when CH2 vol is increased I could just lift 5/7 or 11/9.

If you want to disable one amp, just put a dummy plug in the 'main in' jack.

Are there any rules on transistor capacitor power supplies?
Say the 3300uf power supply? i have 4700uf on hand i know with tubes it depends on the rectifier.
              Thanks,

Found broken wire on cH2 low input jack that had been spun in circles.

The 4700 will work just fine as long as it physically fits.
