Granted its the Alchemist, it still appeals to me as I'm a Chemist by trade.
Nice Fellow in Sebastopol (I sometimes refer to as Patchouliville ; ) wanted to get rid of this combo because of "issues" . He stated it had an unresponsive volume or some such but I was so happy to hear it hadn't "let out the magic smoke" or had some nutty issue with its built in digital FX I snapped it up.
The speakers alone could fetch about $200 I figured...
The young fellow said he never warmed to the Alchemist since he already had his "dream tube amp" an Orange of some kind... and would be getting a Quad Cortex - Neural DSP Modeler soon too. Im looking forward to running down its "issues"
