Ok guys...im lost here. I cant find a scem that jives with what im seeing inside this amp.
its a early version EVH 5150-3 , 50w combo , 6L6 , 1x12 MADE IN MEXICO .
It looks like someone mis-wired the PT to the pcb. The 2 scems i found = 1 is blurry as hell , the other doesnt match the spade connections on main pcb----as far as P16 , P17 , the AC connections...etc.... It looks like someone screwed up the wires plugging them in . Ive got 120v on my ac heater wires where i need 6vac . Its 100% wiring because this is a brand new transformer.......i thought the old one was shorted ( same thing, 120v on the 6v tap) ....great i waited 4 months for this new PT .
