  • Blackstar HT-1 mkII problem with headphones

    Hi there!

I'm trying to repair a Blackstar HT-1R mkII but too much SMT in there. The problem is that when I insert the headphones jack it doesn't mute the speaker out.

I do have a schematic and there is a specific mute circuit before the output stage but it seems to be the previous HT-1 version and the numbering is totally different. I have no idea where this circuit is. Can anyone help or does anyone have the mkII schematic?

    Thanks

Are you sure it's not a problem with jack switching contacts?

Yes, the jack is fine. You can check the schematic (mkI) here,

If this schematic is not for the MKII and doesn't match your amp, online troubleshooting will be difficult at best. I'd start with trying to track down the correct schematic.

Yes, I asked Blackstar for it but they don't send schematics to users for safety reasons and I can't find it anywhere with google search

Does anyone have the mkII schematic?

Start a thread in the 'schematic requests' section. Sometimes it seems we have elves who only peruse that section.
