  • Fender blues deluxe low drive channel volume

I have this amp I'm working on, a fender blues deluxe reissue. Clean channel level is fine, move on over to drive and the level is considerably lower. Swapped pre's, didn't help. Never ran into this b4, and can't find a schematic for it. Anyone ever see this?
    Thank you in advance

Could that be customer error as the drive channel uses the master volume control and the normal is straight in, or the other way around, I can't remember.

If you can't fix it, I probably can.

Check TP32 and see if relais K2 works as supposed.

Tp32 locater points to nowhere. Where is the measurement taken?

Read schematic notes. Unless otherwise noted voltages are measured wrt ground.

That's kind of strange on the layout.
Near K1 relay to the rear of input jacks, there is D16. Anode of D16 is TP32 as shown on schematic.

Oh you're right. Didn't see the layout before.

TP32 connects to one end of each relais coil. The other coil ends should measure +16V.
The 2 test voltages at TP32 show if the relais drive is working and the coils are getting power.

Nevertheless the K2 coil could be open.

Check cap C53. If it is open or has come unsoldered, it will kill the drive channel.
