Line 6 SPIV 75 keeps rebooting

I have a Line 6 SPIV 75 keeps rebooting( in other words the LCD screens completes a boot then flashes an the boot loader comes back up. Not very versed in the Digital Arts but power supply seems to be putting out correct voltages the voltage regulators on the main board are stable so I'm not sure where to start.

My first thought when I read the title was low voltage on a processor supply. The regulators are stable, but check the 3.3v on the respective IC pins just to be sure.

There are also a couple lines labelled 'reset' on some of the digital IC's. Sometimes you might have one that relies on a cap being charged up at boot or something.

Thanks guys i'll check in the next day or so. We're runnin 105-108 on feels like temp with the humidity we've got . Makes me thoroughly exhausted after working outside all day.

ok finally got back to this one. Using the alcohol spray u1 on the power board heats up(page 27).
Any tips on testing smd components. Hate to bust any traces.

Ok supped a c2(measured almost 10000uf should be 6800)
replaced c4, r1 an r2 are not open.
U1 an D1 melt off the alcohol quickly
I'll monitor the 3.3 line and see how it behaves

After checking vl voltage on u1 at pins 4 and 8 (11.something volts) it has not reset at all. Can actually play it now.

Maybe U1 needs resoldering.

Ok next issue is if you play strings lightly it sounds ok. But if you hit the strings normally its almost like a compressor or something seems like it's chopping the signal. Any ideas?
