    Ampeg B-15T

    I have a B15T and it has several burned resistors on the output board. Anyone know where I can find a schematics for this amp? I looked on Schematic Heaven and they have BT-15c, etc.

    Does Loud Technology supply schematics?

    I see B-15 and B-15R which appear to be the same. Not sure what different the T makes. What is your board number?

    What are you calling the output board?

    If the power tubes failed they often take down the screen resistors. Those are 470 ohm 5w, which should be identifiable even when blown. The grid stoppers are 4.75k - R57,58,60,61. If any of those are burnt it is pretty much a guarantee the tube is shot next to it.

      Enzo,

      The B15T is a solid state amplifier. The output board is 06A410-01 rev D. Output transistors are the comp pair of MJ150001/2 both measure as dead shorts. I have not been able to ind very much info about this amp.

        T for transistor maybe. OK, all the B15 stuff I have is tubes. I'll see what I can find. WOn't hurt to call loud, but the model is not on my SLm discs nor in the online LOUD data base. There is a serial number series for it though, so at least SLM has heard of it.

        WHat output power is on the rear panel declaration? ANy? Perhaps the same power amp board is used in other models. That would be a totally SLM thing to do.

          A kind soul on TalkBass just sent the complete schematics (including BOMS,etc). If you are interested I will email you the pdf. Now I can start working on this baby........

                Came through just fine, thanks very much.

                Now that I look at it, and you pointed it out, this amp is the same as the SVT70T.
