SOLVED:
Replacing the MAX9710ETP+ fixed the amp. It wasn't easy--I had to heat up the chip with a heat gun with 1cm nozzle to solder the pad on the chip's belly to the PCB. Then, I had to go back with a fine-tipped soldering iron and solder the pins on the sides to the PCB.
So, all told, two components required replacement to fix this amp: Q17 and the power amp chip MAX9710ETP+.
Thanks to everyone who commented! Hopefully this helps someone diagnose their CUBE-01 in the future.
If you see a broken CUBE-01 without power supply, be aware that the unique power supply is surprisingly expensive at around $38 to $40 by itself. This amp is not exactly worth fixing to flip it for a profit. I'll keep it for myself since I gave my niece a different amp. It will make for a good general-purpose testing amp.
