  • Need help identifying a component.

Hi, New member here, need help identifying this component in a Deluxe Reverb. See yellow disk marked 10% .01. One of the legs is broken, I believe this the problem with the vibrato not working.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Floyd.

Since you do not seem to be familiar with electronics, watch out as there is high voltage in there even when off.

        Helmholtz, mozz,
        thanks for the responses.
Will discharge filter caps before any work is done. What else should I be aware of? Contemplating taking to a tech as well. Thanks, Floyd

If you've reasearched enough to know that the amp should be unplugged and you should discharge the power supply before working I think you'll be fine. A lot more so than many for having known this already at this juncture. Good on you and stay safe. NEVER lose respect for safety practices and get cavalier. That's all there is to it.

Also note (per schematic): "All capacitors at least 400V rating if not specified". In other words make sure your replacement cap is rated 400V or higher.
