Ibanez SST Fishman Acoustic Preamp Repair

Hi All,

I'm looking to repair a couple of SST Fishman preamps; both have dodgy volume pots.

Does anyone have a schematic, or know what value VR4 should be? I'm measuring 234k across the pins (out of circuit) which seems a little odd. I think it's a Bourns part and has B254 stamped on it, but I can't find it in the Bourns catalogue. I did see one schematic which had it noted as 20k.

Have you tried cleaning the pots?

B254 usually means 250K Linear. There could be a mistake in that reverse-engineered schematic.
