Tricks to "uncut" wires?

    If you have a good crimper you should go with butt connectors. My neighbour is a Caterpillar mechanic and he gave me a handful of some that have heatshrink and adhesive.

      The only hitch to that is the proper crimper tool (ratcheting type) takes a fair bit of space to use, so it's tough to get into tight areas. Otherwise a great tool and one of my fave tool purchases.
