  • behringer ub1832fx pro replacement main faders

Got a mixer I need to replaced the main faders in scratchy and cleaning hasn't help. i have the schematics and still can't find vr115 and vr116 on them.
I see these at Audio labs but without a service/parts list i am unsure of which to choose.

    thanks,
    nosaj

pg.11 of the Rev.F schematics where it says 'main mix'. Looks like they are mono faders so the cheaper ones on that Audiolabs page.

Replaced left and right. It is still scratchy on the left side. c232 c244 c234 tested ok on an esr tester. is it possible for one of the ic's to be making the scratchy noise?

          Thanks,

Is there any DC on the offending fader?
Edit: Also, an ESR test will show if a cap is drying out or has high ESR. It won't show you if it's shorted or leaky. Short your ESR tester probes together, look at the reading, and you'll see what I mean.

Oh for some reason I thought the Peak ESR70 plus did leakage. I'll crack it back open and check for DC on the fader.
              Thanks again nosaj

Score for The Dude, replacing the caps quieted it down.
