  • LED for Lab Series L5

Looking to replace the power on LED on my L5.
The schematic has it listed as

    LED, Red, OPCOA LSM-6L

can anyone tell me what I can use to replace it. I cannot find the specs on this thing anywhere. Thanks in advance

A red LED is a red LED.
Yours is rated at 200mW and being red has a standard voltage drop.
    https://www.planeparts360.com/nsn/rf...0632711/lsm6l/ Shows the specification.
As long as the current is limited to 10 - 15mA and there is no reverse voltage, they will last for years and years.
I would replace it with a standard red LED and find out why it failed.
Support for Fender, Laney, Marshall, Mesa, VOX and many more. https://jonsnell.co.uk
If you can't fix it, I probably can.

Why do think it's bad? Is it the compression led?

Well, test it with your meter. Quick and easy. Most meters will actually light the LED on diode check.
