I am working on a 70's Silverface Princeton Reverb. The reverb tank is an Accutronics 064063 that is equivalent to the 4AB3C1B. The specifications say the input should be 8 ohms. It measures 1.1 ohms. The specifications say the output should be 2,250 ohms. It measures 168.9 ohms. I know since I am measuring resistance instead of impedance there should be some discrepancy, but these values seem really low.

Those numbers are good. See pg.4 of attachment for DC resistance vs impedance readings.Originally posted by EnzoI have a sign in my shop that says, "Never think up reasons not to check something."

Drive and pickup coils are almost fully inductive so impedance to DC resistance ratio is about 10:1 as you found out.
We are used to speakers where resistance is about 70-80% of nominal impedance so we find reverb tanks confusing.Juan Manuel Fahey
