ICE Power 125ASX2 in Thunderfunk TFB550-B

I have a Thunderfunk TFB-550-B with a blown up output board. I unknowingly purchased the fake 2SC1494 and 2SA3858 transistors when rebuilding the board. Of course, it failed in grand fashion when I powered up. These parts are now obsolete. This is the same board used in the AMP BH-420, Gibson GB-440, and Eden WT-500. I'm looking at installing a ICE Power 125ASX2 module. This being my first experience with a class D module, I'm looking for guidance with the installation. I have a balanced input source at U5A post EQ, , the module has it's own power supply, I can operate the ICE module in BTL mode for 450 watts @ 4 ohm. Is this feasible? Any help appreciated.

FWIW: The NTE 58 & 59 are direct crosses, and still available if you want to fix the existing amp.

Thanks for the info but I've had nothing but bad experiences with NTE parts. In addition, the board is pretty badly burned. Might be salvageable but I'd prefer to use the ICE module if it's feasible.

In BTL mode I think you will need to be careful about insulating the output jacks.
Will you be using the original power supply for the preamp? Not sure if you may have ground loop issues.

Your Ice Power (Manufactured under Bang & Olefsun licence) uses a bridged output to the speaker and is not suitable for this sort of application.
If the "Ground" or Negative side of the speaker socket touches the chassis or anything that is at ground potential, Bang!!!

Maybe not in the Thunderfunk, but they are used BTL in other amps. Fender Rumble 500 V3 would be one example.

No problem. I wasn't trying to talk you into anything. Just providing options.
FWIW: I've never had problems with NTE parts. I prefer to use exact parts when possible and NTE is usually more expensive, but reliable and certainly scores better than fake Chinese stuff.
