  • Speaker suggestions for 90's Fender Super 4x10

Tried a used Fender Super (90's model, two channel clean /dirty, two dirty gain controls) and liked it a lot but found with a P-90 (my main pickup) it could be brighter. I had the treble way up, almost maxed and felt it was OK but could have used even more. It has an all blue 10" speaker (don't know who makes it) and was wondering if anyone familiar with these could recommend a 10 with more top end snap or basically brighter.

Probably an Eminence 1028, P10R "clone".

The Weber P10RT / 10A100T is a very good speaker for Super Reverb amps.
A good combo is a mix of the ceramic 10F125 and the alnico 10A100T, one of each on the top and bottom.

Awesome, thanks for the suggestions. I haven't liked any Eminence I've heard as far as 12" speakers go but I do love the Weber designs in my Fender Tweed Twin reissue.

inexpensive solution is the 10-inchers at WareHouseSpeakers.
