Anybody Else using Sylvania 6BG6GA?

I'm in the parts gathering stage of a build that will use 2 6BG6GA.

I will not use the adapters as this amp is pourposly designed for them

I'm really looking forward to hearing them tho.

what are you using yours in?

I'm guessing yours are the older version.

I've used these (with adapter) in a Vibrolux reverb, Super, and Kendrick amp. All sound pretty good.

I thought about doing this with my Ampeg V4, but they're too tall with the adapters. Do you know if he sells the adapter kits by themselves? I have a handful of NOS GE 6BG6GA that I'd like to try.

I think he only sells the adaptors if you also buy some tubes. The particular 6B6GA's that he sells are the Phillips ones that are the same as the Phillips 6L6GC's internally and are a 30 watt dissipation tube, so they're great tubes. I got a bunch and made myself 6 adaptors like 3 years ago before he raised the prices.
