Try removing the 25uf bypass cap from the driver stage cathode.Will lower the gain some.

I'm trying to build my first amp and I could use some help from some more experienced ppl.

Im trying to build a 5c1, i dont care if its a darker sound, its also the simplest champ.

I dont under stand what size choke transformer to use???

what type on volume and on/off switch to use?

Do I buy "25K Ohms, 1/2 watt" , what "watt" transistors do I buy??

if the layout chart calls for a .02mfd 600 volts, do I buy a ".022uF, 630 volts"
