Hi guys n gals I'm new here and think you have a great forum. Pretty much a noob from NZ long time musician, short time "mod man" I'm looking forward to getting lots of questions answered here and maybe helping out myself where I can. . . err if I can.
Anyhow I decided that I would try different caps in my TSL60 just to experiment and see what the "hubbub" is all about. However finding all the caps I want Orange Drops, Mallory 150s and silver mica's all under one roof and without paying exorbitant shipping charges is near impossible.
I was just about to call it a day when I stumbled across the Weber site. https://taweber.powweb.com/store/capord.htm
It looks like they make their own caps based on the Orange Drop's, Mallory's, silver mica's and there price point is good too as will be there shipping charges I believe so that is good.
I see Ted Weber has had a great reputation here for there speakers and such (and everywhere else too) but I have not found any comments about their components. Has anybody here used Weber components (caps or otherwise) or know whether they are as good as the real thing please?
Any help would gratefully appreciated thanks.
