  • Input jack Peavey C30

I have to replace the input jack of my amp. In the store near my house have only mono and stereo socket standard.

Can I use a stereo jack and use it for my purpose ?

Well, you COULD, but without grounding cutout contacts, the amp will be noisier when no guitar is plugged in.

Since the Classic 30 jacks are PC mounted, you'd have to run wires to mount this type jack.

May I suggest you just CALL the parts department at Peavey and order the exact jack. Best time to call is right after they open in the morning. The Peavey jack has an extra tip contact that makes the jack more reliable than the one you can buy generically. 71466214 is their part number.

Even this does not fit? I have one. It should be the same as the jack return J3

You want J-521. J-524 will not work on that board.
