  • Choke for AC15 CCI

I realize I don't have the necessary info.
That said, it looks like when the PT center tap is grounded, the AC comes through the 82ohm>diode rigs, one for + and one for the - phase.
The rectified AC then enters a 10uf, a 22uf, the output transformer center tap, and the 1k resistor [which goes then to the 100ohm screen tap and points beyond to larger 22k and 33k.
I think it's the 1k resistor that might have some surge character to it that I don't like and is the resistor a choke would entertain.
Any links to choke changes that you've found helpful, or if it's a simple matter to figure out which choke, whether to leave the 1k filter resistor or alter it's value or...whether other adjustments, elsewhere might be helpful.

    Hammond 158M:

Parts-Express.com:Hammond 158M Filter Choke | voltage power supply power mounts mount hammond filters filter choke

    Looks wortha a try:
Inductance: 10H, DC Current: 100mA, Resistance: 262 ohms, Max DC Volts: 400V
Should it be before or after the 1k? it's the first in the string of power supply resistors ?
