  • Mesa DC3 bias adjustable bias

I would like to make the bias adjustable-I have found that at 400v on the plates at 70% dissipation I should have 21mv with 1 ohm resistors to measure current. Is this right for this amp?The bias supply also sends 2.3V to the PI at pin 3 is this voltage critical? This is an unusual PI is it not?I would supply a drawing but attachments are beyond my skills.Schematic Heaven has the goods-Kevin

    I took some measurements after installing 1ohm resistors-Plates 420v,Screens 316v,35ma at 1ohm resistors.

Smokin hot like mine. Working on figuring out how to cool mine down. Bob
