I'm new here so I'd appreciate the advice. I'm more of a electronics nut than electrical. I've soldered most of my life and am comfortable with doing so. In recent years I've been very lucky and aquired 2- Sunn 2000s's and a Traynor YBA-3A Custom Super. One Sunn has a set of New Tung-sols and the other GE's. I've gone through all the amps and have replaced all the old caps and resistors that did not meet thier spec. On all 3 I've installed new filter caps and resisitors. I must say they sound real good. Each amp has been brought back to,life , but kept stock.
I'm not looking for something that's not there. I'm only wondering if there are any mods or tweeks that are worth while after doing what I've done. If you say there are none then I'm fine with that.
Just to say, the Traynor has the those old spark plug type tops. 6KG6's.
With the Traynor, due to the odd tube, I've always wondered what it would be like with 6550's or a set of KT-88's.
