Roland Jazz Chorus Speaker Swap

Anyone tried different speakers in their JC-120? I would prefer my JC clean sound a little more "Fendery" and I was thinking swapping the speakers might do it. Anyone tried it? Especially with inexpensive speakers?

For those who say "just get a Twin Reverb" I know, but there are times when I would prefer to travel with a solid state amp for reliability's sake.

Try a Jensen C12N, it should be quite jangly Fendery and relatively inexpensive to boot.
Post your results and the difference you hear compared to the original ¿Panasonic? ones..

I thought of using C12's, but $80 each isnt inexpensive to me for an experiment. Any in the $50 and under price range?
