  • 5F6A/JCM800 schematic?

Hey guys, Anyone here combine these two circuits together to have the best of both worlds in one amp? I would love to try and build one but I'm unsure how to start. Probably using the 5F6A circuit with two inputs and foot-switchable for a clean(5F6A) and a dirty (JCM800). If there is a schematic out there similar to this ? Thanks in advance.

    Chuck.

yer talkin' 'bout my amp. Love it. only problem I have is the way I've got it hooked up, I use a Fender jack to switch the cathode cap/10k in and out of the second stage (low gain first stage) cathode. When I'm in low gain mode, the second stage has about 1.5k with 47uf. When I'm in high gain the second stage has just the 10k.
Problem is hum from the second stage from the 470k/500pf combo input.
don't ask me to explain this again. you asked i answered

Check out the channel switching plexi. Basically the same amp, just change the parts values to that of the Bassman and tweek the switched gain stage to get a JCM 800 sound.
