fender vibrolux reverb speakers

Hey, I have a fender vibrolux reverb reissue 1996. I tried running it through a music man 2-12 cabinet with 25watt 8ohm celestion greenbacks that has a large baffle in it and I love the sound I get. I have been toying with the idea of turning the vibrolux into a head since I wont be using the speakers in it anymore. is it safe to do this since the amp has 2 10in jensons? the ext speaker jack says 40w 2 ohm min. thanks

Yes , it's safe.
Although I love 10" Jensens, obviously 12" Greenbacks, specially in a bigger box, will give much bigger sound.
