Do post PI masters generally cause a looser fartier low end to any degree at all compared to a pre PI master? I guess you could say the quesion is the same as asking whether OD'ing the PI creates that sound.

In general a PPIMV is only suited for power stages w/o negative feedback loop like VOX AC30, aso.

Some put a PPIMV in amps w/ negative FB loop like Marshalls, aso. But the more you turn down the PPIMV, the more the FB loop becomes inactive, as well as the presence control - it's by principe the same effect, as to crank up a resonance or depth control - and therefore the power stage's sound becomes looser, and maybe even farty anywhen.
