  • Channel switching on a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe

Hi I have a Fender Hot Deluxe and a TC G-System how can I get the channel switching to work with the G-system in a way that I dont need the Fender stomp box, using the loop function in the G-System instead?
I have seen this drawing on another page:
And since I cant copy paste the picture Im posting the the link:
    Fender Cable Diagram

This is made for the G-major but will it wokr with the G-system as well. Can it damage anything( Amp G-system)?

    THX alot
    Sincerely

According to TC's site, the G-System has two relays hooked up to a stereo jack socket, the same as the G-Major. So it should work fine.

Relay closure (seperate tip and ring connection to sleeve):

4 relays on two 1/4" stereo phone jack for amp switching
"Enzo, I see that you replied parasitic oscillations. Is that a hypothesis? Or is that your amazing metal band I should check out?"

There is a good discussion of the switching configuration in Laird Williams' configuration guide.

      You can find it here:

Beyond that, I agree that the G Major method should work. The G System forum is also great if you want to post your question there.

Good luck with it. I love my G System.
