I successfully modded my 30w tweed Supra-Luxe. I chose to scale the whole amp with the Hall Amplification VVR. It's a cathode biased version. I can turn the amp down to whisper quiet in the house ... 50% with a mic on the PA ... of full on without a mic and it sounds the same.
If anyone is interested, I posted the mod and a clean clip showing the amp at full, 50%, 25% and almost nothing. Just increased the recording volume. I'm pretty satisfied with the mod. Here's the link to the mod over at the Richter site ...
