Those familiar with this amp know that it is a little dark sounding.Would changing the value of C1 help brighten the sound a little bit.the schematic says .05 uf but it is actually .047uf.

Doubt much will help unless you do some bypass cap stuff. Its dark sounding because the supply voltage is pretty low.....The farmer takes a wife, the barber takes a pole.... -
