  • VVR in a Egnater Tweaker Head

I am attemting to install said in a Tweaker which is quite compact, really no place to install it, no room.First thought was to seperate VVR into 3 seperate components, pot, board and mosfet. This would prolly work but the pot would need to be located bettween the imp. switch and the effects loop inputs, thats a long run and I worry about noise issues.

Second thought was too simply replace the standby switch with the VVR unit, I can't see any reason that this would not be fine but figured I would throw it out there before proceeding.I have heard many guys state that standby switches aren't really nessesary and with the VVR fully C.C. there is only about 40 volts or so flowing to the tube plates, so, any thought...Thanks.
