    Hi stormbringer, thanks a lot.
    Those are Oxfords (unless Marsland cloned them), sort of a poor man's Jensen.
    They are quite good and from what you say, better than the Marslands of that era.

      Hey Mondo, it's nice to meet another YGL3(a) owner in Vancouver. Mine was not modded by the same guy. It was Dan Torres who worked out of the Bay Area until very recently. This was his 'super texan' mod. Thanks for mentioning Yukong Ho, though. Apparently he does good work.

      My Traynor has the filter caps shown in Torres' Inside Tube Amps book. I owned another stock Mark 3 that had frying bacon sounds likely due to the old caps. The old ones could certainly be replaced, but if you like the sound, I'd find out what their capacitance is at the moment (probably way off spec).
