I see a number of old posts across the internet, some with caps before and after, some just before. I noticed the Marshall Vintage Modern amp has a PPIMV and it uses .1 caps before and after. About 4-5 times the size of a stock .022 in typical 100 watt Marshalls. I know if you don't put a cap after it interacts with the bias and all that stuff, but does it sound better ?

Post PI Master Volume mods, do I put caps AFTER the dual-gang pot ? Or not..

The La-Mar page sounds very convincing about not using them and using a 250k pot, but the "geniuses" at Marshall did put them in the Vintage Modern... ?

I've never trusted the LarMar-circuit, as I don't think it is safe enough with regards to potentiometer-failure / loss of bias on power tubes. So I use the one with the caps in front and behind the potentiometer, with the latter being a BIG value so it doesn't alter the tone.
