The amp sounds pretty great as is, but I'd like to reduce mids a tiny bit to match up better with my mid heavy guitars and pedals. It's a vintage '57, and has Sozo blue caps, a Weber 12a150 speaker, National 6v6s, NOS Tungsol V1, and RCA blackplate V2, and a Classictone OT (original was blown). All cap and resistor values are in spec. Any suggestions?

a t-filter will give you what you want, but I'd try some of these options first which leave the amp alone...
* preamp valves that have a more relaxed midrange
* Jensen-type speaker with scooped mids
* EQ pedal to sculpt the mids to taste (this is the option I'd go for first).
Those TungSol and RCA preamp valves are quite midrange-heavy as well, so something like NOS GE's or Sylvania 12AX7s would give you a little mid-scoop.HTH - Heavier Than Hell
