  • Marshall DSL100 2 230V to 120V

I have a DSL 100 that came from Europe that is going to be used in the States. Can I just simply move W4 to W1 and W5 to W6 on the power transformer, and also change the fuse to 4A? Or, does this thing need a new tranny?

    Thanks everyone!

Hi David Yes the two windings should be in parallel (and "in phase" so they work together) instead of in series for 240v.
The voltage goes down the fuse rating goes up - 4A is correct the 240 mains switch can handle 120volts with ease although
the 240 neon in the switch may not illuminate properly.
Interestingly the HT fuse a T1A although the same in both 120/240 versions has a different type number !
Don't forget to plug in the speaker !

Great!!! Easy enough... biased to 90mV and it plays normal.

      Thanks again!
