Hello everyone,
I have a Blues Pearl Texas Tornado amp. Its a Deluxe Reverb clone ,2x 6v6 and a GZ34, with only the Reverb side and without the tremelo.
I live in Europe so I changed the 110v transformer to a weber 230v W025130EU which was real close to the specs of the original. Sounded great but did not last much longer than a year.
I want to avoid all the hassle of ordering from over here, expensive shipping, taxes …...
The only Transformer that I can get over here is a replacement for a original Fender Deluxe Reverb, a Hammond 290BEX.
The Hamond has 660v (330 to CT) , the original and the weber have a lower secondary of 530v .
Will the 660v cause any problems?
