  • Clean Channel Tone Stack

How could I add a seperate tone stack for the clean channel of this amp?

Could V1A be used for the tone stack in some way.

I also plan on having the channel switching have the normal(clean) channel out of the circuit when on OD channel.

      You could:

      a) remove the 2.2M and 330K resistors after V1a, along with the .02uF and 120pF caps

      b) install your tone stack on the output of V1a (no coupling cap is needed with a Fender AB763 or Marshall 1959 stack)

      c) re-install the 2.2M (to ground) on the tone stack output

      d) ***OPTIONAL*** - reconfigure V1a for lower Zout (@ 25Kohms): 68K Rp, 1.5K Rk bypassed by 100uF Ck; if V1a uses the triode on pins 1/2/3 of the tube, you could sub in a 12DW7 (27K Rp, 1.5K Rk, 100uF Ck, @ 5.6K Zout)
