    Just to add, did you ever see a bad capacitor on V1 node?
    The signal literally rides on the nodes rail voltage.
    Talk about messing up the circuit.

      I'm thinking more along the lines of tone/feel, not noise. Because i found taking the B+ for V1 from after the PA screen node that theres still no noise. So at this point my concern is how much filtering to use on V1 for tone/feel reasons. I hate the feel/sound of like 80uf there, but i wondered if without the PI and V2 nodes in front of V1, maybe 80uf would now not be so much. Thats what i was trying to figure out by asking this.

        If the node is taken from a different place there WILL be a tiny difference due to the different signals V1 shares the node with (did I mention that electrolytics are imperfect?). But I would decouple with the same value cap you've liked before. As long as you're not sharing filtering with the PA you'll be fine.
