      Yeah I wondered about risk of getting shocked. I'm told old TV's can do te same thing they actually store some power in them and even if everything is unplugged you can still get zapped and cause damage to the TV and yourself. Makes sense to remove tubes and pack them well. When I worked for Tarpley Music we would get orders in and you would be surprised how little care was taken when packing boxes of music products... We would sometimes get 1 box full of all sorts of stuff from reeds/tuners/strings/tubes you name it. All in the same box and the tubes were always just in their blister packs in the mix with all kinds of other music accessories. Thanks again for everyone's help I'm not sure what to do, the most I've ever done is replace and solder in new pickups in guitars when I worked for this music store, never messed with anything on amps or circuit boards.
