I recently was given a Lead 12 that was disassembled, and with a little coaxing, I was able to play through it a little, I have ordered new pots, and a switch. I had it running through a JBL 15, and it sounded great. I did a little research, and found the "Mini-Stack" version of this amp uses a couple of 16 ohm speakers to still make an 8 ohm load on the amp. I plan to add a speaker out, but wonder if I can safely run it into a 4 ohm load. This is not a "chip" output, but has a couple of well heatsinked (TO-3?) output transistors.
