All of you guys modding these small amps for earlier breakup. Imho the best thing to do is use a speaker attenuator. Weber makes a 50 watt one called a "Mini Mass" for about $100. I have one with the footswitch option so I can turn it on and off. Also has a line out. It's a great tool to have because you can use it on any small amp you are using anywhere owned by anyone and don't have to mod anything. They have a "speaker motor" inductive load so they aren't a Tone sucker. I use one every gig.
