Fender 5B5 preamp tube change

Those 6CS7s are microphonic as ..... I'm thinking of wiring in some 12AX7s types etc. Anybody tried this or should I get the GT adaptors?

OK, so rewire it into a 5D5 or 5E5.

Or rewire to a 6SL7 and you can keep the socket.
