  • Can I "Raw Control" or Tone Stack bypass pot?

My Carvin VT50 has a 25k pot on the Midrange control. I do not know the Allen Amp raw control circuit but wondered if I could replicate it by increasing my Mid pot value to say 100K. That would effectively lift the ground?

You may have to experiment with different controls to get the best 'sweet spot' but I would think a 100K pot should do it.

      Thanks Jazz!
By experiment I'm not quite sure I know what you mean? Since it would not be a switch to bypass the tone stack completely, as in a PAB switch I assume there will still be interaction with the bass and treble pots, yes?

I just noticed that the Raw Control is a separate pot in addition to the Mid pot. I know Hasserl has an Attitude Mod in which a pot controls the NFB in the PI circuit and wonder if the Raw is similar?
