Hey all,
I recently picked up a Traynor YGL3A MK3 amp which sounds fantastic! I've started to modify the normal channel on the amp with Marshall Superlead values with great results so far. So I'm getting a bit more gain on the first channel while leaving the effects channel completly clean & stock.
However, I'd like to remove the master volume currently being used and replace it with a PPIMV. Would I just replace that pot in the circuit with a 100K resistor and install the PPIMV as normal? Just want to make sure I'm making the right change when removing the original master volume located ahead of the phase inverter.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
