Sennheiser are the Rolls Royce of wireless mikes.

Surprisingly, under low budget situations I have found Samson quite good for the price.

I'm looking for ideas... thinking I'd like to go wireless again.

The Samson I had was (I thought) kinda expensive at ~ $300.00 I know Pro systems are much more than that...

Hoping to find something decent for $250.00 or less.

I don't need "Pro" quality, just do occasional casual gigs,
but it's fun to walk around and go out front and hear the house mix.

I use an older Nady UHF10. Works great. I even rehoused the transmitter because I like it so much and the proprietary jack broke after a few years. You don’t want a VHF one.. those are the cheapest. I think this UHF Nady was only $150 at the time on sale. I’ve been using it for at least 4 years. The new digital ones that are spread spectrum are supposed to be better.. but I really can’t tell the difference. Mine doesn’t hiss or have artifacts and has great range. I just stick it in my back pocket.
