Silly question, but has anyone here tried using an EF86 in the vibrato/trem channel? Obviously, this isn't a simply swap, there would need to be circuit changes, but before diving in to determine the exact changes needed, I'm curious if anyone else has done this, or if not, am I missing some reason why one wouldn't? (Besides the microphonic issues)
FWIW, if I go ahead with this build, it'll be a Hammond AO-50 to AC15 conversion, so no classic Vox amps would be harmed.
