Modding a Marshall Major for Cascading Pre-amp and PPIMV

Hello All.. So I got a couple of Marshall Majors. One had the OT replaced before I got it, so it's already non-original. To this one I want to mod it to get that Richie Blackmore tone from Made in Japan. For what I've read he was using a modded Major at the time with a Cascading preamp. I found a source that gives some mods to the Major but I wanted to run it by here to see if any of you had any thoughts on this before I go ahead and experiment. I've also read somewhere that the one-wire mod and PPIMV work well Majors. A guy in Canada by the name of Michael does a Plexi R/T mod that sounds good. Here are some Drawings.
