I have read that sniping caps c17 anc c18 will kill some shrill in theses amps. My question, when they say snip do they mean that, or bypassing them out with wire. Thanks Louis

Snip means cut - as in cut the wire and remove the cap.
Putting a wire in place of a cap would be shorting across the cap.Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned. -

Right, replacing the cap with a wire is the same thing as shorting across the cap. Once there is a wire there, the electons wouldn't know whether there was a cap or not.Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.Comment
