Yea Ive tried everything. I even replaced the relays with no result. I really want to fix this amp but in the morning my mom is going to make me bring it to a tech. My gig got posponed last minute so I guess I might as well. If anyone has anyhting to suggest as a last resort im all ears.

You can't just replace parts hoping to get the right one in the process. The problem might not even be a bad part, that is why you have to actually trace the signal. That is why I mentioned testing both ends of traces and both ends of parts, and also that a signal path shorted to ground is a possibility also.

      Troubleshooting is a systematic process.

In this curcuit for example the relay is on two spots. By looking for signal we already knew the signal made it through the relay on the input side, and on the other end, by unjecting noise at the master control we already know the relay on that end passes signal. SO changing the relay anyway is just guessing.

Following the signal through the circuit inch by inch, part by part, trace by trace, WILL find the problem.

On the HR Deluxe, TP11 is at the tip of a desistor down near the ribbon to V2. R25 is next to that resistor: is signal at both ends of it? I am not asking if the resistor is OK, I am asking if there realy is signal at both ends. Then C10 is over a little farther. Again, is there actually signal at both ends of it?

On the schematic, C10 and the master control are right there together. But in real life, the C10 is down by the tubes, while the master is up on the panel. How does het signal get from C10 to the master control? There is a length of coax - shielded wire - soldered to the board down by C10 with the other end right next to the master. Is there signal at both ends of that coax cable? Is it shorted to ground?

That is one difference between a schematic and a wiring diagram - the schematic won't point out jumper wires and interboard ribbon cables and things like that. But those things are still there in real life and we cannot ignore them.
Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.

Yea I did my best to check all those things and still couldnt find the problem. Thanks for the help though anyway, Enzo, I've really learned a lot from you. Im not old enough to get into electronics classes yet so I learn from everything and everyone and you have been quite helpful. Thanks so much for your time, I really apriciate it.
