Hi,
I recapped a Bogen PH10 PA amp and have been playing it for a few years. It has a 6LS7 and a pair of GE 6V6GTs in it and sounds very mellow. I want to put it in a cabinet with a speaker so that it isn't just sitting out in the open where tubes or cables can get bumped etc.
What kind of things should I consider? I was thinking of putting some kind of separate preamp and tone controls as well as IEC power cord and fuse in front of the PH10. The only change to the PH10 itself I am currently considering is the immortal amp mod with diodes in front of the 5Y3. I kind of want to be respectful to the old girl but am open to any safety considerations.
